The Future of Our Society: Our Philanthropic Vision
The future belongs to young people. Yet today, we live in a society designed by the old one: a society of abundance, with enough resources to meet the needs of every human being, but trapped in issues of power and mismanagement.
If we cannot protect those in disadvantaged situations, we cannot call ourselves an evolved, caring, or fair society. Those who hold economic and social privilege must take responsibility and create concrete opportunities for the new generations.
In this world, the domino effect is real. If a mother is forced into danger, stripped of her dignity and support, her children’s future is already marked. But if we guarantee education, safety, and stability for these mothers, the whole society benefits.
The greatest sickness of our time is violence: economic violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, gender violence, religious and ethnic violence, and the abuse of children. When a society cannot provide for its people’s most basic needs, when it fails to grant even the minimum threshold of wellness, it becomes a sick society. With time, this sickness grows, spreading like a domino through the entire world.
This is the heart of our philanthropic project. We believe that if the majority of people can live in dignity and well-being, then the smaller percentage still in need can be better supported, because society as a whole will no longer be overwhelmed by desperation and scarcity.
What is most alarming is the blindness of privilege: the belief that “the suffering of others has nothing to do with me.” But we all live in the same world. We all meet, travel, share, and interact. No one is invisible. No one is a ghost. Every human being is as real as you and me.
And yet, in 2025, under the eyes of the entire world, some leaders still believe war is a solution. Just like the atrocities of the past, people are killed daily while the world watches in silence. Money and energy are wasted on weapons instead of building safe, sustainable communities. This is not evolution. This is regression.
Imagine if the same resources used for destruction were invested in protecting the oceans, growing sustainable food, caring for animals, and ensuring dignity for every person. That is what evolution should look like.
Today, human life often seems to have no value. But it does. And that value is not dependent on external things, it exists within us.
So why do so many foundations raise money for children, and yet statistics on abuse, exploitation, and neglect remain devastatingly high? The truth is: laws are not applied correctly, and power is often misused. But change is still possible. Not by waiting for another Diana, another Gandhi, another Hepburn. Change starts within us, by choosing not to be hamsters trapped in the wheel of this system, but to create better communities, to demand justice, and to live with awareness.
